Caller ID showed up as Los Angeles CA. It was a man with a very heavy accent from India. He was calling to try to peddle some type of insurance from a company called US Auto Care Insurance. I politely asked him to repeat the name of the company because the line he was calling from had a lot of connection noise on it, plus I could hear the multitudes of monkeys with scripts in the background calling people and trying to push thier fraudulent insurance scams. I politely informed him that he was illegally calling a personal cell phone with a telemarketing phone call. He instantly hung up one me. How professional. Blocked the number immediately. Block the calls. For a smart phone a call blocker is an app that may come pre-installed on your phone. For an older-style cell phone ask your carrier. Or put the pest's number in your contacts list and give them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".
