Got a call from 323-729-3069. Guess they don't realize the IRS don't make phone calls they send letters... They like to try to intimidation but threats don't get them anywhere. Lol called number back and got hung up on.
Same deal as everyone else. Claiming to be IRS with a warrant out for my arrest...so I call them back saying that I work for the FBI and I would like more information from them regarding this so called warrant. They stammer, stumble and have no clear answers for me. When I ask them where they are located they say California....I inform them that the IRS headquarters is not located in California. I then ask them if they know what IRS stands for...they have no answer for me. I ask him for his IRS ID work number (This is of course BS) and he fumbles with the phone and gives me a 4 digit number. I inform him that it is a longer number than that. He then hangs up. Don't let them get away with this guys! Don't just hang up and ignore it. FIGHT BACK! Scare them a little!!!! Have some fun!!!
This women called she said her name was officer Nikki Johnson from the IRS to return the call at 323-729-3114 and please return the call before we take action against you.
I just got this call from 323-729-3121 which was a fraudulent money scam pretending to be from the IRS concerning delinquent taxes owed. Any call from the IRS is usually a scam, they only contact you by mail. So I decided to engage them, I asked a barrage of questions about them, that he simply could not answer. Dept codes, legal tax statutes, reference edicts, arresting warrant jurisdiction codes, supervisor's name, badge number, state tax supervisory commission code, etc, etc, etc... I pushed him to the limit and drove that nasty little criminal right up the wall. He finally hung up. Above all....Offer these scum no personal information at all. They're looking to grab your money or phishing for info in order to fake a passport or state ID.
Just received a call from this number saying that I needed to call Mitchell Johnson (323) 729-3114 with the IRS. It was time sensitive and a very urgent matter. Not a call you you would get from the IRS. The message sounded like a recording and whoever did it sounds intoxicated. I'm not returning the call, it's bogus.
