Me too! Indian accent wanting my credit card number for shipping charge. Said he was from TWCable- however I don't even have a TWC account!!! Do not give your info to this person!
The same thing happened to me. I told the Indian guy that it sounded sketchy and that I wanted this supposed reward from Comcast in writing, he said that they had to do it over the phone in order to get the reward. I told him no thank you, he told me that I could verify with Comcast and to call back the same number. I thought it was too weird so I searched the number on google and this is what came up. Plus the guy kept on saying "alright" at the end of each sentence!
I just got the same exact call earlier today. I called Time Warner asking how this Indian man would even know I have Time Warner. I myself just signed up with TW last month. The operator said no one at TW really knows how this man knows. It might be the area, and the "footing". Whatever that means
SKETCHY Indian guy called me claiming to be COX and kept saying that i got a free gift card, but he needed me to pay shipping...i quickly hung up and will now report him to whoever i need to!
