i just received a text about a ad I posted on craigslist about a truck I have for sale and offered a certified check plus additional amount to hold it. it asked me for my name address city and state and zip. text back stated I prefer text I asked them to call i don't give out info in a text plus i believe this is a scam
Craigslist scammer.... Pretending he is buying a product and sent official looking emails as though they were from PayPal. Asked for money to be wired to pickup company etc.
sent several text messages on a craigslist ad we have running - won't answer callbacks. Says his name is "Mark" but is "buying for his brother so can't come and look at the item. his broken syntax indicates English as a second language. this one smells to high Heaven.
Just got a text from this number, responded to my craigslist ad, wanted to buy my truck sight unseen and mail me a "certified check" :-) certifiably fake! I texted him the link to this page ;-)
