Its EFax people, if you got a call from them its probably because you are doing business with them or someone typed your number by accident into the fax field.
The company is K2 Global Communications. I called the number back and I guess they do customer service for E-fax. I waited on hold for a moment and spoke to a woman in India. She asked me for my E-fax number so somehow they have my account information from them I am assuming so I will be filing a complaint with the FCC for selling my information to a country that is one of the largest suppliers in stolen identities in the world.
I would say answer the phone and cuss them out. The more people we can [***] not to do the job the better.
J2 Global Communications IS Efax; I have had efax for years. My call what from someone impersonating Efax. Efax is legitimate business but the call is not really from them. Another scam attempt but again it's not really the company. EFax will email you if you need to update CC info and you go directly to site not links.
I'm also getting calls from this number. I am currently doing a 30 day trial of eFax and am definitely going to cancel it ASAP. They keep calling and don't leave messages or answer when I pick up the phone. I am also on the National Do Not Call List...
