Rec'd a call from J2 Global Communications today (using this number) in regards to a letter that was sent to them about a 714# that kept calling the office. They are telling me that it is not J2 (using the 714#) but the number has been stolen from them. That number has been disabled by their company.
I just got a call to let me know my trial- E-Voice is running out.
They wanted to startup/continue month to month service.
I did! It has done what I wanted for 6 months and I think they also do the e-fax.
I don't need it yet.
I have had no problems with them, if someone calls my toll free # it makes the business sound as if it is larger then it is.
I got to them through Go-daddy when I got my .com address
This phone # was used for a Paytrust bill pay account that the customer never applied for. Be sure to check your credit reports very closely for suspicious looking accounts. Be sure you applied for that credit card or service, especially Paytrust and Quicken accounts, and most especially if you bank with Wells Fargo or Bank of America.
This number, (323)860-9200, is J2 Global Communications / eFax. They typically call if there is an issue with your payment for your eFax account, or if you signed up for a 30 day trial, they are calling to inform you that your 30 trial period is either expired or close to expiring. They are not scammers or attempting fraud. They are a legitimate company who offers fax services. For the most part they do not ever call, unless your monthly payment is not going through. I will say, however, that they are not very professional or curteous. They will call several times in a row without leaving a message. In addition, they call during odd hours (ie. 6am, 11pm, ect.) If you do answer and want to cancel your eFax account, they become extremely annoying by making it difficult to cancel. They keep you on the phone and repeatedly attempt to try and keep you from canceling.
