It's JC Pennys Collections Dept.
Wife forgot to pay the bill in Jan. Why they don't leave a message is beyond me. It took detective work on sites like this to figure out who the hell kept calling me every day and not leave a message. If you call the number back, they answer 'JC Pennys Collections Dept' We'd have paid it long ago had they told us who & why they were calling.
I used to work there. They can't leave a message in detail because its would be against the law. If its about your child, they can't tell you again because of laws (privacy concerns). The workers are instructed not to leave a message until a certain time, because we will try to make contact throughout the day. If you want the calls to stop, feel free to pay your bill.
Even though I have spoken to them, have no outstanding payments, and have tried, obviously in vain, to explain that to them, they are STILL calling! First they call my home phone, when I answer, they hang up... Then they call me cell phone. About an hour later, it starts all over again...ALL DAY LONG!
This apparently is Penneys. My payment is not late. It's due tomorrow. They've already called three times this morning. No message or anything. That's when I looked it up to see who was calling.
