GE Money is tracking when people are home, But why? Other numbers include are as follows: 678-518-2881 XXX GE Money / 330-433-5979 XXX GE Money / 980-233-2743 XXX GE money / And many more. Dial * 60 then follow instructions to block they will just go to the next phone number and they a many many numbers. Why are they tracking when we are home ect? Isnt there laws against this type of on going harassment? Can a joint civil lawsuit not happen here? can anyone contact the ACLU about this?
I agree - 1 call a day is sufficient. 2 MAYBE. But I get calls from them 5-6 times a day. And many times it's several days after I made my payment. This is most definitely harrassment.
I also am getting calls from this #. It is JC Penney and they use different #'s so on the caller ID different states show up. OHIO and now GEORGIA. Do they think we're stupid??? They do not leave any messages either. I have gotten to the point where I turn my ringer off of the phone. If they call people 15-20 times a day, how much does it cost for the phone call? Maybe they should put the money it costs to make the phone call towards the money they are trying to collect. Bad Collection Practices on their part!
I get calls from a number 330-433-5966 4 to 5 times a day with no messages left. I finally called the number back and it's JcPenny credit services. They have an automated system set up and ask for your account number that is stated on THEIR credit card they give you. Funny thing is no one in this house has a credit card through them. So either 1.) They think someone else still lives here and they're trying to bill them or 2.) They're trying to sell a credit card through JcPenny's. There are no options though, when you call back, to get through to a representive to cancel the calls.
