Got a call today, my caller ID shows the number is in Illinois. Looked like a weird number so I didn't answer it. I called back and it said the phone call could not be completed as dialed. Probably spam!
Got a call in So California from this number did not pick up since I did not recognize the number, after reading the other comments on here It was a good thing. I have not made any other calls to companies recently, so I'm pretty sure it was a random call or a robot call.
Same thing happened to me. Answered, politely asked to be removed from the call list, guy responded with "f*ck you b*tch," and promptly hung up.

Just rec'd call in Colorado from 331-000-0001 Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out it's bogus, scam, etc.. Don't know number, don't answer. And, I always Google search unknown area codes as well as unknown numbers.
People, please don't ever call back to calls you receive with no caller id and worse hang up once you pick up. This is the new scam and you will be billed by foreign countries for that call back you made. Common sense!!
