3311114242 got a call from this number said guess what nephew I am and said yep thats me said he was going to stay wit us for a couple days we asked how u comin if u dont have papers said he got his job to send him on company business got 6 months in the U.S.Asaid he will call tomorrow to let us know where he will land by plane I right away told my dad its a scam so he called to mexico and sure enough it.was still goin to get a call tomorrow from this guy ima have a lil fun and play along haha
My wife got a call from Mexico around 10 30 pm ans it was a girl and she said hi aunt guess who it is is the oldest niece of the SILVAS and my wife said Hi Claudia and here is your uncle Hector talk to him, at this point she alreadry knew I got a niece named Caudia and my name was Hector, and she said I will be In Dallas tomorrow and I will call from there and tell you what time I will arrive in Omaha that way you can pick me up I said sure right my cel number that way if nobody is home you can reach me, and rightawy I called my niece in Mexico and sure enough she didn't call
Next day they called me again and I I played with them I said good morning this is Detective Silva how can I help you and they hung up
My advice is to do the same thing I did and call the authotities I called the FEDERAL POLICE in mexico and filed a report this is there number you have to dia like this from USA

they will tell you what to do but waht thell tell me they got the excuse that the had an accident and need money to get out of the hospital or the customs detained them and they charge them 10 thousand pesos so be very careful
This just happened to me and my dad! Today January 31 2013 we received a call from a person claining to be our relative and needed money fast. Supposely he was in a car accident
and the money was needed ASAP to come visit us and pay the person whom
He crashed into. He started crying making this situation as real posible. so on our way to deposit the money we called our aunty and asked for our relative n why he was calling us(it seemed very suspicious) so they told us he wasnt in an accident and was at work so we researched and came across this page! Right before we sent money to a TOTAL SCAM!!! This is the number from where this suspect called; it appered like this on the house phone (331) 807-4545

ONCE I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM I JUMPED IN AND ASKED THEIR LOCATION, letting them know i had just made the deposit, AND THE LOCATION WAS ON A WALMART IN KANSAS SO I QUICKLY ASKED WHICH WALMART(knowing there are only 4 Walmart locations in kansas) I TOLD THIS PERSON I KNEW WHERE THIS PLACE WAS AT AND I HAD A COUSIN WHO LIVES 15mins AWAY FROM THAT WALMART LOCATED IN WHICHITA KANSAS SO I WOULD HAVE MY CUSIN TAKE THE CASH IN PERSON! Dats when they hung up and realized that i KNEW THEIR SMART SCAM!!!!
The same thing happened to my sister, some one called saying he was a cousin of ours and fishing for names well. Then asked for money. Fortunately he made a few mistakes and she called his wife tha told her he had just left to work. It just happened today 2-19-2013. Be careful when receiving a call from area code 331.
Someone called from 331 205 8765 at 11:11 am on my cell phone. I didn't recognize the number so figured they'd leave a message. They didn't. So then see where in the US ''331'' area code is. It's not it's in MEXICO! Being that I have No friends family or nobody in Mexico. I found THIS site. Read the reviews and knew I'd leave my experience for the wise. DON'T be so quick to reply. To people claiming they're friends or family. When in doubt, check it out. If you see ''331'' on your phone. Just don't answer it. Oh yeah, most important. Tell ALL your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. WE ALL can put a stop to it. Tell them if you see ''331'' area code don't answer it. Unless you know for sure who it is in Mexico.
