I got a call from this number which I wasn't going to answer but decided to. The guy starts out friendly with "Hey, how's it going" with a Mexican accent. I said, "What do you want. You are calling the wrong number." He utter a bunch of profanity and I hung up. Added this to my blocked number list.
My mom got a call from this guy saying he was her relative and he just automatically stated she needed to pick him up at the airport how he was coming from Peru staying in Mexico and coming to the U.s next day. The guy gave her airport and flight information. He did not provide himself with a contact number and told my mom he will call her. He sounded very aggresive and in a rush .. She gave him cell number. To find out my mom called her family there was no such relative my father find out about any boarding flights from Peru to Mexico and no such thing. All was bullshyt next day he calls dad picks up he brushed him off saying he needed to speak to his aunt my dad question him he was hesitant and like in a rush. My mom asked him who he really is from what family to give first last name father's name guy hung up. We tried calling busy. This man is an idiot and a scammer we have contacted authority. He is in alert do not fall for him or anyone . He did not get any information but point being knowing our nationality and know in my home number is just crazy. This man and this ring ive read amazes mw same similar stories.. they need to be caught and hopefully more cases report and this idiot get under bars!

My parents almost fell for this scam but after many persistent phone calls it started to feel fishy and the western union transaction was cancelled. Thank God!!!
I got two phone calls from this number today. The first, the guy told me he was my cousin. I said which one? To which he replied, "you don't know my voice? It's your cutest cousin on the (father's last name) side!" Luckily for me, my cutest cousin on that side has a nickname he's had since he was born, so that's the name I gave him. He said yes it was him and that he was on his way down to see a friend and wanted to stop by to see me. After telling him I'd meet him for dinner, he called back a few hours later telling me that he'd gotten into an accident and that he needed my help. First, he only asked me to speak to the guy, and talk him into following "my cousin" to the bank to cash his check. He said the guy didn't trust him and maybe I could convince him he (my cousin) was a good guy. So, when I said I would talk to the guy he said, "oh but he's Mexican." I told him I didn't speak Spanish. He said he knew that and then asked me to wire him some money so he could just pay the guy, and that he'd give it right back as soon as he got here for dinner. I told him I didn't have anything but the grocery money for the week. I have a new baby, so I'm broke a lot. He told me just to wire him the grocery money and he'd pay me back when he got here for dinner. Of course, I got suspicious then, and so I asked him for his real name, since I'd only given him the nickname of my cousin. There was only silence on the line for a few seconds after that, then he hung up. This guy was really convincing for a quick second, so watch it! He's slick, but he's definitely NOT YOUR COUSIN!! Total scam artist!
