Just received a call from a Spanish speaking man - when I picked up the phone he greeted me by my first AND last name (yeah...). He kept saying "you don't recognize my voice?" "Aww I can't believe you don't recognize my voice" (now I realize that the reason he kept saying that was so I can GIVE him a familiar name and then he can run with that and say "yeah that's me") After I didn't give him a name, he finally said his name was Junior (Junior is a super common name and can be anyone), I asked him what is your full name? He then said Joe (another super common name, in English and Spanish Joe is Jose) I asked him what he wanted, he said he just wanted to say "what's up and see how we are doing", I told him I don't know anyone named Joe. Then he hung up. I think he tries to gage people and when he realizes the person he's speaking too is not a dum [***], he just hangs up. This guy is obviously NOT dumb, be careful people and warn your abuelitas and grannies!!
