They called us saying they were my dad's uncle and aunt and saying they were in a car crash. They asked for money (speaking in spanish). It sounded suspicious so we called the daughter of our dad's uncle and aunt and they said they were in Mexico. So in the end we did not fall for the scam and we did actually get the names of the people who did it. His name is Jose Roberto Gutierrez Carranza. People beware of this person.Do not fall for there scams
They called asking for my mom, saying that they were friends who needed help. I didnt answer my sister did and she said "idk who u are" and they started laughing. It was more of a prank call to me, but im sure the other reviews were true.
My dad got a call from this man who claimed he was my dad's nephew. He spoke only in Spanish and my dad did not recognize his voice and he said that he had been sick with a cold. He said he was coming to visit and was bringing my dad a present. He asked for my dad's cell phone number so that he could call when he got close to our house for directions. He said he was the oldest nephew and that they called him Johncito. My dad called me to tell me about it and I knew immediately that it was a scam. So when he called him back on his cell phone he asked him if he was my dad's name and my dad said no can I take a message who are you and they hung up.
This a$$?0!3 just called my mom and said he was family he was coming over he was going to surprise her. My mom is a senior living alone glad she always calls me to tell me I looked up the number and found this very helpful site THAnk you told mom not to answer the phone any more that it was a scam.
they just called me, they said my name and I asked who is this, he said my last name and Inreplied who is this, then he asked in spanish, I asked again who is this, and they hang up.
