They called us saying they were my dad's uncle and aunt and saying they were in a car crash. They asked for money (speaking in spanish). It sounded suspicious so we called the daughter of our dad's uncle and aunt and they said they were in Mexico. So in the end we did not fall for the scam and we did actually get the names of the people who did it. His name is Jose Roberto Gutierrez Carranza. People beware of this person.Do not fall for there scams
Today, I received 2 phone calls from 3319254015 asking me for my mother, if I rememeber who is calling, etc. First time, I hanged the phone an de second time, asked me if I had money because he had a car crash. I asked for his name and then he hanged his phone. Take care please with this phone number.
this person called my uncle saying that he was family and that he was his uncle. well my uncle was like okay you know nothing wrong with it and then saying that he was in Holland Michigan and that he wanted to come and visit him but you didn't know his way to his house since it's been a long time sincehe visited him so my uncle was like okay meet me at the Walmart parking lot and I will guide you to my house about five minutes later my uncle received a phone call from this person again stating he had just got into an accident and he was not going to be able to make it but he was going to try he said he only have like $5 on him and a check that was not cashed from work if he could help him out with some money until you get paid he would give him his money back that's what my uncle said "whose son are you" and the guy hung up.
This guy call around 9 Am claiming to be my moms nephew name JUAN, which she does have saying that he was stopping by to visit before he leaves back to Mexico and was in Los angeles to make a purchase for his business. After an hour he called back saying he got in a car accident but not to worry he had money to take care of the crash I spoke to him telling him that my real cousins JUAN didn't speak English and to stop calling otherwise I was going to report it to the police he quickly hangup.
We received on Sunday, 10/18/2015 6:55 PM with the same story as the majority of the people.
The person was of a male, he seemed to be in his late 20"s 30's, he kept on trying to get information from me and he insisted why i did not recognized his voice.. I told him that i did not recognized his voice and also told him that we received all types of calls trying to sale or get information from us and he hung up.
A man called us from this number. When he called he said in Spanish " hi family how are you?" When I asked him who he was he said his name was Carlos. When we continued to press who he was he was offended that we did not know who he was. He responded by saying "well I guess that's what happens when families lose communication" when I would speak to him in English he would respond only in Spanish. I'm assuming he doesn't speak English. This is definitely some type of scam. These people are terrible. My mother took the phone from me and asked him " You know me then what's my name?" He immediately hung up. I'm glad I found this website otherwise we would have been thinking this person was actually a family member that we had offended. My concern is how they got our number. Our phone number is listed under my father who is a senior citizen. Which makes me think are they targeting seniors and how did they get our number?
