BEWARE!! This is a SCAM!!! My poor daughter trying to pay for college almost fell prey to these idiots!!!
DO NOT TRY TO CASH A CHECK FROM THEM! Our call was from "Patricia Foley" for dog sitting, just moving into our area, blah blah blah
ALL LIES. Thank GOD my daughter doesn't have the funds to even remotely cover this FAKE check anyway.
The check is from TEAM ESCROW in CA however, the check itself is mailed from FL...HMMM NOT TOO SUSPICIOUS
CATHY DALTON beware of what will come back to you for working in this scam.. You reap what you sow and GOD don't like ugly!
Named Pauline Morris, husband named Peter. Claims to be relocating near me soon. Sent a check for almost $3000, told me to take out $300 for my first weeks pay. Didn't text until after several email messages. The check is supposed to come today... but I'm really glad I found this site before hand... I knew something seemed off, but this is undeniably a scam.
This just happened to me. I went through with the whole thing though. I'm a gullible person... Sadly, she will tell you to cash deposit the rest of the money into a bank account. The check will bounce back which happened to me. Now I owe my bank a large amount of money. This is a scam. I now have no idea what to do and how to come up with the money. What I did for the emails I traced their IP. If i'm correct the emails were sent from San Antonio, Texas. This was too good to best true.
I got the same message too from the exact same number!! the husband's name is Peter, but the wife's is Pauline Morris and they have a 3 yr old child named Curtis.
