By the way, you can not be arrested in this way, there is no such thing as an 8 day jail sentence without possibility of seeing a judge, and there is certainly no such thing as sending prepaid cash cards to prevent people from arresting if there was an actual just cause.
Unbelievable what some criminals do these days to take advantage of people and steal their money.
I just got the same call! He freaked me out so badly that I actually called my local court and county court to verify that I dont have a warrant or subpena out for my arrest! The scariest thing about this whole thing is that he had my full name, Social Security # and BANK ACCOUNT AND ROUTING NUMBER!!! I was advised by my local courts legal aid dept that I could file a civil suit against these people for fraud. Guess what?? Im headed to the courts tomorrow..I am stay at home mother of three and DO NOT deserve to be scared to death with such fraudulent phone calls that have me chasing my tail calling circuit courts to find out if what they are telling me true...they messed with the wrong mama!
I received the same call. I think the guy said his name was Rocky or something. When I asked the guy to send a certified letter for me and my attorney to look over he refused and told me I would be arrested. Again asked for a certified letter and when Hw got smart I asked if I stuttered because clearly he wasn't understanding me. He then became irate spoke over me about how I was going to be arrested if I didn't handle this situation..I guess he didn't find it amusing when I asked if they were metal or fuzzy handcuffs because he hung up.What a [***].
