vova is at it again (he or she?) texting from 1-614-379-3146 and email [email protected] to a listing on craig's list asking me for my info to send a check. Purporting to be a US Marine. just to let you folks know.
Received texts fron this number. The caller responded to a CL post and tried to scam me into sending cash to a NC address. What he got was an irate fellow (me) who promptly put the law on him or her.
Yeah, this caller responded to a Chattanooga CL post for an item costing $225. Sent me a check via Fedex in amount of $1750. Wanted me to deposit the check asap and keep $300 for myself and send the balance to a person in Georgia via Western Union. Knowing this was a scam from the start, I have already contacted the bank the phony check was drawn on, my local police, the police department of the "courier" (Western Union recipient),and have reported to FBI fraud and scams. Claims her name is Vova Skydanyuk, says she is a U.S.Marine, and always "God bless" es me. I've been putting her off the last couple of days, saying I was working and couldn't get to the bank or the Western Union location, in order for the officials to catch up with her. She initially called from phone # 269-235-9561 & changed it today. So beware Americans....apparently the Nigerians are trying to scam us all. I hope she sees this post.......and I hope she gets what she deserves. God bless the USA, not the freaking Nigerians.
I am a fourteen year old girl who has been getting emails from a surun Louis about wanting to buy my dads motorcycle jacket. The guy sent me a check of 1755 via fedex. He told me to take 200 for myself and send the rest to a Gabriel diaz person in Kansas. So I cashed the check into my account and took 200 for me and sent the rest to Gabriel. Now I have gotten another check from him today for 1450 telling me to take 150 of it for hassle, and send the rest to Gabriel again. I haven't cashed this next one yet. But I was going to tomorrow until I saw all this. What do I do? Who do I report to? since I cashed it into my account..will I have to pay for all of that?!
