I got a 911 call which scared me to death as they area code they used was NC where my daughter lives. 336 505 7092. The guy left a completely garbled message (but left the callback number clearly!). There is an India like vm attached that says it's fthe Federal State Bureau of NC. The really bad part is I was so scared I left them my cell number to return my call ASAP....as I thought it was a 911 call related to my daugher. Now the jerks will be calling my cell or worse.
Called this # from a VOIP phone with a soundboard, got voicemail and it was clearly an indian speaking person who recorded the VM message, not even that good english at that. Left a few whacked out messages one as Borat another as Arnold Schwartzanager and will continue to harrass this number as they have harrased you ;)
right the lady that called me said she was with the FBI and her name was officer something or another... I told her right out that she was a scam and not to call my phone number again, as I have dealt with these kind before... and know all about their ways to try to intimidate money out of someone, but they called the wrong person.
Just curious why you are saying to put a fraud alert on your credit??
I got the same message, she said her name was Anna White, she sounded foreign, she said she was looking for my sister and if I did not respond I would be arrested, she gave me a number and extension.
