Caller said "is the owner around" when I said no, she hung up on me. Rude!!! If you call it back, a robot answers and says someone will call you back soon or you can PRESS 1 TO BE ADDED TO THEIR DO NOT CALL LIST. Still have no idea what this "business" is.
"Lafayette LA" called our business. We are inundated with time-wasting calls from telemarketers and other con men. No reason to talk with "Lafayette LA" so we let the call ring until voice mail answered. In the split second before voice mail began talking, a female voice said "Hello..." Then the voice mail greeting began and the caller hung up.
Emily with her mile long sales script and she wouldn't come up for air. Was advised that I had won a near endless list of travel benefits. A luxury cruise, round trip airline tickets to the port of embarkation, laundry, all meals and unlimited drinks plus every imaginable perk. Lucky me. Only one minor hitch. It was only going to cost me several thousands of dollars to cover various taxes; their processing fees; etc., etc., etc.; ad nauseum. I know exactly what you're thinking -- yes I admit it -- I was stupid for not accepting all of this FREE opportunity. (BTW, Emily called me THREE times today.)
