Got a call and answered, oops. They gave a loan number for my loan, don't have one, obviously a scam.
Too bad one of the choices on the Call Type isn't "Rip Off". Guess the closest is "Prank Call" or "Political Call" but I can't believe that they are sponsored by our President?
Received call at 5:22 pm on 17-July-2011 - a Sunday afternoon. We weren't home. No msg left on ans machine. Caller ID is "Stim Obama"; obviously a scam call, probably computer generated.
We're on the DNC list, but it does not seem to be working, and these marketers are using fake phone numbers and IDs so they can't be traced.
Thanks to all for submitting these comments.
We are on the state and federal do-not-call lists.
If you have Bright House phone service, you can block this phone number:

"With Selective Call Blocking, you can use your My Services account to block calls to your Home Phone from phone numbers that you specify. When a call is blocked:
* Your Home Phone does not ring.
* The caller receives the following message: "The called party is not accepting calls from this number."
* The call is never forwarded and never goes to Voice Mail.
* The call is not displayed via Caller ID and is not displayed in any recent calls list for your Home Phone."
