I can't wait until we can file a class action suit against the violators of the do-not-call rules and regulations. I plan to file a formal complaint with the California Attorney General and get the $2,500 I deserve for being harassed. I am keeping a log of the day and time of calls.
I've gotten it, too, and others that are similar. They don't care about the DNC list; they may not even be in the U.S. When I ask them anything, they hang up.
By the way, if you hear nothing, it means another person picked up before you - they call a lot of people simultaneously, and take the first one that answers. Most of them do that - very annoying.
Robo calls with no human are, I believe, illegal even if you aren't on the DNC list. But think about it - the government is about to go broke, so how much can they/we afford to spend fighting these scum who probably are impossible to prosecute anyway?
