Then hung up. When I tried to call back the number was busy. She was obviously looking to get me to say "yes" to something. This is the largest phone scam there is right now. Report the number to the FTC who monitors phone solicitations.
Left a message on my cell phone (woman's voice): "Hi. This is Rene Baker..." there was a pause, then "Hi. This is..." The message suddenly cut off. I have no idea who Rene Baker is and I don't know anyone in Houston. Maybe the telemarketer's equipment is breaking down? One can only hope!
