Warns that the IRS is filing a lawsuite against you. Called me twice yesterday. Once today. Robo call. Threatens so called "final" notice. AN IRS advocate told me that this is wide spread scam. The IRS doesn't make these kinds of phone calls.
Don't be alarmed by this scam. It is a prank, never give any info, don't call back. I received the robot call saying it was the IRS going to sue me. Immediately looked the phone number up and saw the posts that it is a prank. Something should be done so naive folks don't get screwed. It is disgusting
Received recorded call today from this number threatening law suit by the IRS. I knew this was a prank. The IRS does not call threatening anyone with a law suit if they owe back taqx. The taxpayer has the right to question the IRS how it came to the figure owed. If the taxpayer does not agee they have the right to appeal. The IRS will never call threatening anyone with arrest, law suit, and will not tell a taxpayer how they should pay. These scammers are instructing people to purchase Reloadit cards, Green Dot Cards, Pre-paid cards, and Money Grams. Something has to be done to stop these crooks. We are losing thousands of dollars dailoey frokm or economy because of this non sense.
