Received a call from this number, didn't accept. Got an automated voicemail saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit. Tried to return the call and it said the number had been disconnected. According to everyone here this is a scam; I assume the IRS would send something via mail if it were true. Glad I'm not the only one. I have no reason to be sued and therefore am assured that this is a scam.
Called saying I am going to be sued as well from the IRS. She identified me by my maiden name , knew my address as well. She identified who I was by my first name only, without even giving my last name (major red flag) !! Scam! I called the lady out as a fraud and she hung up on me!
I also got a call from the 346-971-6246 saying it was the I.R.S calling to file a lawsuit with me, I called it back and must say if you get a call from this number it is a scam but you can have fun with the lady by constantly changing your information with her, well if you are bored enough I guess...
I got a recording saying IRS was going to file lawsuit I called the number back and informed them I thought this was a scam and I did not owe any money she replied she would take my name off the list and hung up! She did not even ask my name! I reported the number to the state att. General's office.
