I don't know how these scumbags get all of these numbers, computer generated, I guess, but I have reported to the FCC, what a joke. It is a direct abuse of our rights.
answered call got rec mess if you want 6% rate press 1. I pressed 1 to ask to get taken off their list but the guy who i was transferred to after (being on hold with music) answered asking how much do you owe, i said 0 and he hung up on me. Called # back and got rec mess mailbox full
I just got a call on my cell from 347-218-0531 saying I can lower my credit card interest by 6%. I pressed 1 to talk to an attendant and said I wanted them to take my name off their list and he hang up immediately. Damn [***], leave me alone. I'm not stupid enough to give you my information!! They have been added to my reject list on my cell phone.
Been getting call From all over the U.S. (WA, OR, NY, FL plus a few others) I typically ignore numbers from other states but I was curious this time. Same credit card scam as all the others. I block the number and have a few weeks without the calls until some other [***] gets my number. Then I just block that one too.
Call from NY to cell phone on Do Not Call registry; something about lowering my credit card interest. Either a scam or phishing. A case for the Navy Seals.
Got this call. Answered. A recording started, said to wait for an operator to discuss lowering my interest rates. I waited. A guy got on and asked if I was interested in lowering my credit card rates. I said sure. He asked for my name. I said I'd like to know what company he's calling from first. He hung up.
Got a very similar call from another number about two months ago - they asked for my name and credit card number and I asked which company and hung up.
Prior to that about a year ago I got the same call and the caller asked what my credit card balances were and I told him zero since I have no debt. He hung up.
These are scammers wanting you to reveal enough personal information for identity theft. NEVER EVER EVER give out your name, personal vitals or credit card numbers to someone who calls YOU. Hang up and call your credit card company (from the number on your card) back yourself if you think the call is legit.
