I get tons of calls a week from these type of numbers every week. The best thing you can do is to report them every time they call and not answer their calls. It keeps your number in their system if you don't answer and never do they lose interest.
I get at least 3 calls a day from this number. I recently started answering in hopes to remind the person on the other end that my number is on thrDO NOT CALL list..... After a long silence a female robotic voice says "good bye." Tonight the last call came at 9:36!

So. . . you live in a 3rd world country? Live on less than a dollar a day? . . . but have invested $3,000. in a bond? . . . and have made a return of 40% in 6 months? Ponzi scam? Pyramid scam? Lying Shill? All of the above? If you plan on being "a neontalogist in Australia", get to school, instead of trying to cheat people.
They continually call, I've asked them numerous times not to call......even asked to speak to a supervisor.
They ask my name. I'm not giving them my name, especially when I don't even know how they got my number to begin with. I don't see the point in giving them further information about the person on the other end of the number they called, you know?
But they never transfer me to a supervisor.
It's odd...I block them on my phone and they just call through anyway. I'm on the "Do Not Call" List and yet, they get through anyway.
How the hell is this possible?
I've even called my provider and asked what could be done.
So... the next step is to get in touch with the F.C.C. as they can also do something about it.
You can try reaching the law enforcement agency in Far Rockaway, New York and let them know it's a VoIP phone that's making the calls, and hope that something gets done about it.
In any event, I'm going to contact the F.C.C. , as this is an internet based number....and see if they can't do something about it.
I've contacted law enforcement in the area from which the number seems to be based from, and was told that unless I had a pending case, they couldn't help me. I politely told the investigator on the other end that I'd contact the F.C.C. and let them know what he'd just told me and that I'd get results from the Commission itself. I then hung up on him while he was backpeddling.
No wonder people have no respect for the law enforcement in that area.
Contact the FCC 1-888-225-5322. Follow the prompts to file a complaint about a phone number.
Once you follow the prompt and hit the key you need to get through, you will get a recording, but if you hit 0, it will take you to a live representative who will take your call and file the complaint for you.
I just did it.
Make sure to have a log of the times they've called you, in terms of actual 'clock time' as well as amounts of times.
