i recived a called from this number sayiny i owed them a payday loan from usa credit then the person asked me my age and was i married and then he asked me if he could be my boyfriend i hung up ang called police and reported them
I keep getting calls from this number (347-269-0833)
I know for fact it is a scam, they claim i owe them money form a loan i never got from anyone. what i have done to protect myself is the following...
1. Got a print out of my credit report to show i have never had a loan that they claim i have
2. Got a print out of every bank statement from the time i opened my account til the moment i closed it to prove i never got a direct deposit in the amound they said.
3. I contacted a lawyer with all the information i got from the person who called (never gave me the same name but usually the same guy) and am currently in the process of fileing a lawsuit against them for harassment. Calling someone at work is against the law if you are asked not to call that number again. I have also reported this number and other information to the FBI, and to the international trade commission. I do believe that these people are from out of the country and have a number from in the country that redirects their calls to their country.. i think india..
Dont fall for the scam, dont pay one penny to them because as soon as you give them one cent you admit fault for the debt they claim you owe and from that point on you are screwed.
I have gotten calls that do not show the number they are calling from, but the voice mail has this number to call back. The voice mails are from a Ross Taylor from Public Credit Services saying it is an important legal matter I need to call them about. Sounds like it is coming from a call center in another country. Lots of background noise and an eastern accent. Something about a lawsuit against my SS# blah blah blah. I have not called them back and don't intend to. Must be a scam.... lawsuits in the USA do not happen over the phone.
I got a call from but from John Miller. The calling number comes up "unknown", but this is the same call back number. I could not understand but a few words. Most are the same as yours. U4Y8
I keep getting calls from an officer who states there is a lawsuit filed against me and includes all the above mentioned comments. I have contacted attorneys, attorney general and federal trade commission with no luck, if anyone has any comments let me know! Thanks
