Have received many calls from these people with threats to be sued and taken to jail. Have looked up their #'s before and they were coming from Tampa. This one however is in Brooklyn, New York. Man says his name is Charles Brown (original) and as always has a thick Indian accent. I told him that I know he and his fake company are a fraud. Please do not give them any money or personal info. They should go get a real job and stop insulting our intelligence!
Got 8 calls in less than 5 minutes on my cell phone. Very Heavy Accented man named Joseph Williams with a supposed serious legal issue. When I called him back he refused to tell me what this supposed debt was from - just demanded immediate payment. I refused to pay until he told me what this supposed debt is. He became very agitated and said he will have the police arrest me. I spoke to the local police department to ask some questions because this didn't seemed odd. Officer Jackson advise that 1. All debt collectors are required by law to advise you of the original debtor, date debt incurrect, total amount due 2. They must give you a minimum of 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt 3. They must notify you via USPS or Certified Mail and have proof you received the communciation 4. They can not demand immediate payment and 5. They can NOT ave you arrested, or fired from your job. VERY SUSPICIOUS - DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO. I have reported the number to every Better Business Bureau I can find.
This heavily accented man called ever two minutes, yelling at me and threatening me. Told me to have my attorney meet him at the court house tomorrow morning. I asked him which courthouse and what was the address, he hung up on me. He then called back and told me my social security number, stating I had defaulted on loan.
accented man called my mothers house today and said he receive a fax about my bill consolidation and want to spoke to me about it. He gave this 347-289-3902 so I called and a man answered the phone I ask who did I call, he said ACS. I told him I need to spoke to Patrick, he ask me what my phone number was I would not give to him and he started yelling some really nasty things and hang up on me. I called back and ask to spoke with his supervisor and again he told me to f***off you M*****f*** and hang up on me. So please don't give these people any money thats all they are out for. They also call me at work. I work in law enforcement and this doesn't stop them.
