Same nonsense here. Male caller with thick Indian or Pakistani accent, background noise sounded like he was in a call center. Threatening legal issue, will need a lawyer, will cost me money, etc. BS scammers.
Lol, I got a call today from these idiots at 347-305-1237, aka, the treasury dept legal affairs. I've had them before so I play with them now. When the "secret agent" danny morrison answered the phone I immediately asked for his badge and employee #. He told me to go fuc$ myself. Hahaha.
"Jack Lewis, Treasury Department", thick foreign accent. I asked what it was about (call was for my daughter) and he, the caller, said it was highly confidential. I told him it was a scam and I was going to report it. Phone number is 347-305-1237
I received a message on my answer machine. The man had a heavy accent and there seemed to be some static in the phone line. He said he was from the department of legal affairs and that I was being sued. The caller was difficult to understand. He added that I should retain an attorney prior to calling him and that I had to do that soon or I would be prosecuted. I would have liked to tell him that I was going to come there and cut his head off. However, I will reserve that for another time. I am sure he or another criminal will call again.
