Yes - also called twice today - it is a total scam - the IRS would never call with a robo-call or a live person. They always use the mail service if there is a problem. Had a live call a few months ago where the person said my wife needed to call the number for info on her taxes. I stated she would not be calling and the caller said please inform your wife she will be gong to jail in the next 48 hours.... still waiting.... :-)
Received three of these calls from this number today. I have reported to all the different agencies that I read on this board. I managed to blocked this number from my home phone number. I have Comcast and dialed #60 I followed the recorded instructions to block this number from calling my home. Fingers crossed I will never hear from these people again!
Automated recording of pending IRS lawsuit. Received similar in the past but was usually a male voice with heavy accent, instead they are using a generated one.
