IRS scam from 347-305-7060. Received four calls today. Called back at 6:30 p.m. and was told the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. Foreign speaking woman, hard to understand. Told her to never call my number again, that the IRS did not make phone calls such as this. Their contact to individuals is via US mail.
I received approximately five (5) calls, when I called back and informed them to stop calling my home I was told to shut-up a They claimed the IRS was filing a law suite against me. One of the people stated they "called to confirm my address so they can send the cops to arrest me". They insisted they are from the IRS.
Received three calls from this phone number yesterday. Mostly could only make out telephone number: 347-305-7060. One message mentioned pending law suit against me. I called the number late in the evening to try to figure out origin and just received a voice mail message of a woman's voice with a British accent saying the party is unavailable.
I think everyone who receives such messages ought to report number to the government.
