Left a message on recorder about IRS arrest on property. They could not identify themselves and when I insisted they hung up. Here is a tip when someone bothers you with a scam call. Get yourself a cymbal and tell them just one minute. Then proceed to crash it several times in their ear. It works.
Left automated voicemail, "Very important I don't hear back from the last soonest several before we proceed further in any legal manner my direct call back number at 347-085-4634 seven is 08546 thank you…”...
This is probably a waste of time, but if you receive a phone call from an IRS scammer you can (and should) report it to the IRS here: https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
and to the FTC here: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/GettingStarted#crnt
I got an automated message just now with a woman's voice telling me an arrest warrant had been issued for me. Did not say why just that she was with the IRS and to call her back immediately at 347-308-5546. Given I owe the IRS nothing, I knew it was a scam and now see here just how widespread these creeps are. The IRS does not make calls like that - it's 99.9% always in writing by snail mail. Don't call them back.
Man claiming to be IRS saying a warrant has been issued for my arrest by IRS and I need to go the Federal Store to make a payment to stop the arrest warrant. Spoke to my tax person who told me this is a scam & I should report it to the local police.
