Caller said someone was trying to hack my computer and claimed to be working for a company in California. Phone number is associated with Semantic Infotec... sounds like they're drycalling for business.
just got the DNS scam call...gave me the same speal about my computer...I was sitting in front of it and turned it off...I then told him I did what he asked and he got all excited...I then asked Joseph??? if he thought all people were as ignorant as he was...he lives in Ottawa...he even spelled it for me, and then asked where I lived LOL...I too could hear the buzz of other callers in the background...I hung up HARD on him...
I got call and i also got sucked in; i thought it was mcafee calling. I ended up paying money every time they called; cancelled cc before they added more charges; wish i new about this so called company if so i;d ring their skinney indian necks until they gave me a refund!!
