When I told the guy we no longer had the car and we weren't interested he said, and I quote "thats what you're wife said right before she went down on me"......I'm livid and have no way to complain and get this jerk fired!!!!!....wheres their headquarters located?? anyone???
My dear, this is a scam. These people are criminals, calling to steal your money. They don't comply with the Do Not Call law because they are criminals. Most legitimate telemarketers DO comply with the DNC law. You're not going to get anyone fired because they are dirtbag criminals that don't give a cr*p about the law.
The # that displays on your Caller ID is NOT the actual # they are calling from, AND in those rare cases where it is the actual #, they disconnect it shortly after a successful scam.
But, most often, the caller-number that displays on your Caller-ID is NOT the actual # they are calling from -- it's called 'SPOOFING.'
Spread the word about Spoofing and also complain to your Atty General Office.
It should be illegal to have the ability (the Software or the App) that allows one to change the number that displays on the receivers Caller ID
They program their phone with an out-of-order, non-working # (or a private residential #) by simply entering that #, so this way they can never traced after they bully and harass or scam someone out of their personal information and money.
CID said "unknown name." I answered with a rather angry "WHAT" barked into the phone (because this isn't the first time they've called), and he said "Whoa, that wasn't very nice" and abruptly hung up. Poor baby, he must be new.
