Called me over and over claiming I owed money to Golds Gym. I told them they could send me a letter in the mail. The more confrontational I became the more they transferred me. I told them I would not give them personal information on the phone by a company claiming I owed them money. I haven't had a membership with Gold's Gym in 10 years. When I hang up they call me right back.....[***]!
They've been calling my number for weeks,2 to 3 times a day.I finally answered and some [***] who I could hardly understand said I owe a gold gym membership from 2007. I told him that membership was in Texas and was paid and I did not renew.Never received a bill from Golds all those years ago and everything was paid up and the membership card was turned in at the end of my membership.No problem! Now I have these idiots calling my phone number,which I am no longer in Texas,so how they got my number in beyond me since they keep calling my pre-paid cell phone,which is not in my name or linked to me in anyway! The idiot on the phone insisted he has my "Soc. security" number and "personal information" and if I did not give him 550 dollars on a credit/debit card,he would use my personal information..Oh yeah? I told him to go blow me and told him he is nothing but a scammer and to go to hell. He started threatning to report it to my credit report and will use my personal information.What is that extortion? I could hardly understand him ,he said his name was "Sam"....yeah right.Wouldn't give me a copy of the debt,any information and he said the first time the company name was 1st national credit and the second time he said his company name was collection fast inc...make up your mind before you try and scam someone !!
These jokers tried calling me several times today. Saying they needed to speak with me concerning an important business matter and then wanted me to give them my name correct spelling, to verify my dob and to confirm my mailing address. I told them I wasn't giving them any information especially since I did not know who they were! They must think people are STUPID! If they were truly debt collectors then they would have all that information already from your creditor.....I called back and told them not to dial this number looking for anyone again!!! What unscruple people there are today. Report them to your local police dept.
I received the same type of call regarding a gym membership. They tried to get my personal information and that is when I hung up. Now they continue to call daily. Good idea to save the number in my phone as don't answer. Thanks!
Next time call them a Sand N*gger lol. I asked the [***] what his last name was, because he said his first name was Aaron (((Hindu sounding [***]))) and he just stammered. I asked him again and he's like "what would you need my last name for???" I just laughed and hung up.
