Had a call from this number claiming I had a Government grant to be paid to me for $7,000, but wanted to know if I could give them my credit card or debit card number for verification & asked me to pay $200 before receiving the grant for processing fees. When I asked them to give me info as to where there office was located, & that I wanted to verify the call was legit. The person got Irritated with me,became very rude,& told me he made a mistake & I was Not Eligible after all & hung up.
My wife received a call also telling her that she had been chosen to receive a government grant..and to call the number..3473890028..I typed in that number on my computer and came to this site..thanks for letting me know of this scam..unfortunately she didn't catch the name of who was calling
I received a call from Michelle saying I was selected to receive a federal grant for $7,000 and to call 347-389-0028 to verify my identity so I called and spoke with Edward Furlong who said I needed to pay $200 to verify they was sending the money to the right person, then I spoke to the supervisor Jeff Young and told him i think this was a scame.. And it is...
