I recieve a phone call stating I am being sued by a federal agency, they knew my current address and social security number too. He claim his name to be patrick wilson but he had a heavy indian acent. When I asked him for his federal ID number and for me to speak to his supervisor he hung up in my face.
received a voice mail on my cell phone from officer andy taylor federal dept of investigations threating me with a court filing when i called back he kept stressing that there was a court filing ready for misc items when i asked who was filing charges and i wanted him to mail me information before i would discuss any thing he had my social security number, address, employer and of course my cell phone number. i again asked who was filing this claim he said he could only give me the parent company's name cashnet marketing and when i asked when i obtained any thing from whatever company he said it would have been in the last year that was why they were offering a settlement amount of $450 but if they filed in court it would be $2500. i told him i had not received any thing from any one in the last year and told him i believed this was a scam and identity theft he hung up on me, Andy Taylor has such a heavy indian accent that you know this is not his real name.
I am getting these calls as well. He says he is Officer Walter Jones from the Dept of Financial Investigation and they are going to arrest and/or sue me for a payday loan. I am sick of these people. He has my ssn, date of birth and has called my place of employment.
I received a call on my cell phone and my employer received a call from this company and the same person kept leaving a different first name with the same last name on the 2 calls but identifies himself as an officer before his actual name. I called this number back and the same person answered the phone saying Federal Department of Investigations. I asked who the person was and after several seconds the same person gave another different name. I informed the male with the american based names but Indian accent that if he calls my cell phone or work ever again that I was going to report him to the FBI and anyone else needed since it's a federal crime to impersonate an officer and that he was not to think I am bluffing. The guy kept trying to come up with something to say and I just hung up.
