We just received a message exactly as described above. It was meant for my daughter. We don't answer unknown numbers, and looked up the number after hearing his message. Thank you to everyone who posted previously.
Yes, just got this call at my house yesterday. An asian guy named Alan Parker, yeah, right. Being in law enforcement, I knew something was fishy about this call.figured it was a scam, and this site helped to confirm that.
Any legitimate Law Enforcement agency would Identify themselves, what Department they are working for, and would give specific information in regards as to why they are calling.

I came home to this message on my phone and i got nervous because I thought it was my daughter's exboyfriend's mother bringing some stupid libel charge against us, as she has threatened in the past. Thank god it turned out to be a scam! I won't be losing any sleep over this!!
