I received a call a month ago and went through the motions a month ago stating they were from the IRS (threatening fraud, arrests, and I'm responsible for any mistakes that was incurred because I used TurboTax versus a CPA). In the original call, the lady agent claimed her name was Emma Bennett and then I received another call yesterday from the identical lady with the accent, leaving me a message with a different name, stating she was Jennifer Watson. On the first call, she stated she would send me documentation outlining the tax claims against me, which I've never received. When I call back the number, it rolls directly to a voicemail with a gentlemen that sounds like he's from India. Is this for real?
Received 4 phone calls from number 3473498717 , 3474304707 and 3472989403 from some scammers impersonating the Internal Revenue Service this week. The I.R.S. does not call people. It’s a Fraud.
