My daughter in law just reached out to me about a post on Trulia. She sent me the back and forths. I am so glad I thought to type his name in on the Internet. Almost the same post. Disgusting.
A friend sends me a list for a rental 2 doors down from me and the guy actually has the pictures of the inside of the house.. sends a pretty legit email and when i call no answer.. so I google the number and basically he has switched his name to Prejean Joseph. Here's the recent email:
Hi,
Here is the apartment address: 41 Surfside Ave UNIT-(Can't be Disclose now for security reasons) Surfside, CA 90740
See attached pictures of the unit and the rental form, and the monthly rent still remains $1500 which includes all utilities, internet n cable included.An advance first month rent payment plus the refundable security deposit shall be paid before moving in and before receiving the keys and legal papers.
NOTE: Landlord of the unit does not reside in the unit nor in the city but monthly rent shall be paid directly into the landlord banking account and your filled rental application form shall be reviewed by me and the landlord before approval so viewing and walk through will not be possible but you can only view from outside and the neighborhood.
If you will need to vacate the apartment, notice shall be given 2 to 4 weeks prior to intended day of moving.
The security deposit shall be refunded on or before the day of vacating the apartment.
Please return the filled application at your convenience, which I expect to receive the approval from my landlord.
I am willing to review the sublease agreement and seal the deal as soon as possible.

He is doing in Salt lake under the Joseph name. Same email. I asked for the landlords name since he is out of state in NY and he said NY wasn't out of state!
