This has been occurring to me all day 2/15/11 -- at work and on my cell. He is calling from +052 497347 but says on the VM that this is a legal matter and to call 347 457 3027 and yes the man has a very heavy indian accent. How do I stop these calls?
I have been receiving calls from this number for the past week. The man calling indicated that his name is John Smith, James Cater and wanted me to pay off my loan. If not, legal action would be taken. I have paid one loan off with this company and is currently paying another loan with them. After reading also these concerns, I have stopped answering my phone and has put in a claim with my bank and other legal departments.
I also recieved a call from this number but he said he was robbie taylor and he was calling about a grave legal matter that is effecting my ssn and my credit and i will get in serious legal trouble if i dont call him right away..He states he is from a legal firm atlf david processing co..i googled that and there was only an international co..He also left on my friends voice mail my ssn date of birth and other third party info that is against the fdcpa...This co is very very stupid..they even called my work and all my clls are recorded there... so very stupid..
contact the better business b as well as file a fdcpa violation for third party disclosure if they release any of your info to friends or family or u without confirming it is u. a true debt collection agency must confirm who u r if it ligits..If they bother u enough at home and work call an attorney who handles this they will do it pro bono..
