Left a voice mail saying it was a legal matter. Called back and claimed i had a outstanding amount and the state had a no tolerance policy for repayment and a warrant was issued for my arrest where i'd face 6 months in prison and my assets would be seized. They wanted me to make payment by withdrawing cash and giving them an activation number from a card i'd buy at a local CVS (or other similar stores) and give them part of the code so they could file it with my application to avoid arrest.
while on the phone I got another incoming call from a lady claiming to be with the US treasury. The Caller ID listed it as an Emergency Call and not a normal phone number. Not sure how they do that but it is part of their scam.
Long message from someone who spoke poor English claiming to be "William Rogers from Department of Legal Affairs". Said I should "Do right and call me back now." Uh, I don't think so.
