Had a call like everyone else. K, I have never come across a person from India on the phone (Lord knows that is all we get now a days) with a common name like ours. That was my first red flag. I got to the point where the tech was going to take control of my computer and stopped them there.
Got a call from them today. Said it was david. Indian accent. Wanted to call me back. I took number and said I would call them back I called them back and told th not to call again.
Got a call from these guys that lasted about two hours. Thank god I found this site because I was almost to buy into it when they threatened that my internet connection was going to be cut if I didn't renew my windows license. Also, they stated that I was violating the US code and laws by not renewing my license. Funny thing is, I live in Canada. Anyways, they made me give them full access to my computer and linked me to fairrtechnologies.com to complete my purchase. Asked to contact Microsoft, but told me they weren't affiliated. I hope these people get caught for their scams.
I seriously fell for it and i was dumb enough i didnt realize it was a scam till i got in the shower and looked up this number and boom i was right what should i do i gave them all my information
Had several customers call with questions about this scam. One interesting is that their call back number, 347-480-2300
is actually a computer support company, that specializes in WINDOWS. Not Microsoft software, but WINDOWS.

Makes you wonder. I realize the scammers could be trying to frame the Fairr company, but makes you wonder. Lot of businesses use telemarketers to direct business to their website.
Makes you thing!
