These people (man and woman) call and leave this number on my cell phone with threats that I will be arrested. I am supposed to call them back or have my lawyer call them back. This has something to do with pay day loans from a company I have never heard of or done any business with. This is a stupid SCAM and I must have had at least 100 or more calls from these people. If you talk to them and confront them with questions about which firm they work for and similar things they never tell you. They change their names and numbers frequently.
They need to be stopped.
A female by the name of Claudia called and left me a threatening message regarding a loan that I don't have. She would not give me any information to prove it. She said she was from the Financial Law Dept. of Brooklyn county.

SHE WILL SEND TEAM OF COBS AT MY STREET ADDRESS AND AT MY EMPLOYER.
THEY ARE NOT LAWYER OR ANY DEPARTMENT. THEY ARE SCAM.

Well guys, I did receive a call from this number this morning so I decided to do a little investigation; my findings were: 1) They are not listed on the BBB's website, 2) I cannot plot a physical address to locate them, 3) They are Indian or middle eastern. So this morning I received a call from them, I did not answer and subsequently they left a voice mail, this male voice stated that someone has an affidavit against me and they needed a call back from my attorney or myself. After I did my investigation I proceeded to call them back, so this male person picks up the phone and answers: "Financial Law firm", I reply with a greeting and then said: "My name is so and so and there was a voice mail from you guys stating that I am in legal trouble", the guy in turn transfers me to a female whose name's Kaisha or something like that and says: "Mr. So and So, there is an affidavit against you for a debt that you owe to our client", I respond (acting like I was very worried) : "And how much is the debt for and to whom?", she replies: "You are supposed to know that information, why do you have to ask me?", I respond: "Well, since you are collecting from me I need to know how much and to whom.", she pauses for a few seconds and replies: "You owe $200 to Cash Central but it accumulated fees and interest and you debt went up to $680, can you please provide me with your information and your attorney's information?", so I said: "Listen Kaisha, I searched your phone number at BBB but didn't find any business related to it, therefore I contacted my District Attorney's Office from California as well as New York State, I will not give you any information of myself!", so she promptly replies in an angry voice: "You are the scam, you don't pay your bills so you are the scam, I will send a summons to you, don't call us back!!!", I said: "Sorry but you are the scammers here!", she hangs up on me, minutes later I call back, they pick up but don't answer, so I say: "Why don't you give me your info if your are legit? You scammers!", they hang up on me but I called back 10 times and at the last attempt she answers again and she said: "I told you to leave us alone, gosh!", but before she hung up I replied with: "Listen scammer, go back to India, cops are their way to get you!!!", so she hung up.
Now, my plan is to create a twitter account and post their scam with their number to the open public. They picked on the wrong person.
