Same as the previous posts. An middle-east accent woman claiming to be working for investigation department of IRS, said there is a warrant issued in my name, threatening about an arrest. She asked about some crime history questions, such as have you been arrested before? I suspected this is a scam call and stop answering, then she said she'll forward my case to the local police and have them arrest me. So I told her, DO IT THEN!
I tried to make sure this is a scam and called her back. Another woman answered the phone, and she did not immediately say that this is a branch of IRS, etc. In contrast, she demanded to know who I am. I told her about the IRS thing, then she put the middle-east accent woman back on. I called her a fraud and she said I'll know when the police comes then hang up the phone.
Like others I have received no mail notice from IRS whatsoever. I have reported this incident to TIGTA. This kind of call is very annoying and unpleasant (she speaks aggressively and commanding). Please put a stop to this and arrest this woman or whatever organization she belongs to.
These are scum of the earth people that do not deserve a moment of your attention. They claimed they are from IRS and that there is a warrant out for your arrest. They sound very convincing but ask for their office address or their name. Chances are they are going to hesitate or they will misspell their own name. i.e.: the lady that called me she said her name is "Lucy Rollins" but when I asked her to spell is she spelled "Lucy Rolland" (big difference in pronunciation). The guy that claims to be the officer from IRS, his name is "Allen Donald" but for some reason he has an Indian accent. Now I am not racist but I wasn't born yesterday either. Please do not be scared, just to confirm call your local police department to confirm if there is a warrant and they will calm you down and tell you that it is a scam and to not worry about it. I hope this helps, and these people deserve to get hit by a bus for putting people through so much.
She asked me if I did Tax in past 6 years by my self or not, and then said there if with my tax, I need to pay $5000, if not, after her reporting, will be fine for $35,000 and police will catch me soon
