Another number used today 347-983-0454. She knew my address info and said she was from the department of IRS investigation. That I owed $7,525 to IRS for Tax Evasion. Her name was Sharil Park and she gave a badge number 640017. She even gave me a case number which I'm sure is fake. I knew it was fake, I wanted to see what other information she had on me. Some please report this woman.
Cheryl Park also called me today. She called from 347 349 5244 She was very rude. When i asked for her full name and badge number (640015) She said that I'm annoying and she will get me arrested.
wow! thank you for posting this. honestly exactly same. $7525 penalty. for making unreported foreign payments. must pay now within the hour or the police will be coming to pick me up within three hours. honestly i was shaking in my boots. very direct little lady Sharil Park at 3474414089. very convincing. the only thing is that while she transferred me to talk to another agent to describe how to resolve the payment, i looked this topic up on google and here we are. proven scammers. omg what a relief. when the next agent came on i gave him my case number and when he asked me my name I told him he should know it from my case number. at this he became beligerant yelling at me and then hung up. 5 minutes later they tried calling me three more times. so close... thanks for posting about Sheryle Park.
Sheryl Park called from that number claiming to be from the IRS saying I have an arrest warrant due to tax evasion. Their trick was to instill fear to eventually get you to give them money within the hour to "help your case". during the entire call they didn't ask for financial or personal information, they had my full name and even had an "officer" Brain Johnson call me from a 911 number to say he received a warrant for my arrest..all to make it seem very real and believable. Giveaways; they all had american names, but Indian accents. They claim to have sent a letter with a warning which I never received. The final one was when they told me to take off work to go to the bank, get the money cash and meet with them at my home. Best to hang up and stop answering if they call back. The IRS would never call and demand you to pay up right away.
