Received two calls from this number, they left voicemails claiming that they were from the IRS and that I would go to prison. I am elderly, even though I know it's a scam it still upset me! I hate that they are doing this to people.
same scam as in previous complaints. Beginning of message was cut off so I did not hear anything re name of IRS, but heard "the case against you." and all the rest the other people are reporting. I have NOTHING in my life that is any problem so it's obviously a scam.
Why is this scamming company still allowed to make these calls? They have been at it for over 9 months. Most everyone knows they are a scam network preying on insecure gullible people (as are many of the elderly - like my folks). These scam artists have foreign accents (likely middle eastern), they are very authoritarian, the caller ID (347) is in the Bronx, NY (although they may be bouncing the I.D. off of numerous towers and may actually be located in - Damascus, Syria - who's to say?). Verizon, AT&T and the other companies involved (including the IRS) should have put an end to this immediately back in December when the scam broke - why is it allowed to continue?
