THIS IS A SCAM. They've called me quite a few times and I didn't answer. I finally did and they claimed I was eligible for a federal government grant and had me call another number (I did, because I knew it was a scam and I wanted to get more information to post on here). The person who answered that number told me the same and asked how I'd like to receive the money. I could either give them my bank account number so they could transfer it, or I could go to WalMart, call them back and they'd walk me through how to get the money. What a load of crap. At that point I asked them why they couldn't tell me what to do now and they just kept repeating themselves. I told them I knew it was a scam and yelled "stop calling me!" Another number attached to this scam is 347-509-8737. If they call you, block them.
This phone number has called me 7 times in the past 3 days January 26th 2000 17th thru January 28th. When I answer the phone there's nothing but dead air. I want it to stop immediately.
