They called yesterday form 509-207-4767. Today it was from 347-903-5896. Same message....the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, blah, blah, blah. Folks...remember these are SCAM calls. Our local news has done tons of stories about these scams. Just hang up. Better yet....if you don't recognize the number just don't answer. In the meantime....Think Spring!!
I just received a message from 347-903-5896 saying to contact immediately, when I did they claimed they were Internal Revenue Service and that my ex husband had a lawsuit pending however I am divorced and they got my cell phone and wanted to verify personal information of which I did not give. Obviously it's a scam and I hung up on them after trying to contact them three times and all three times we got connected until the last call. BEWARE!
I called back and spoke to a young lady from India. I flirted with her a while and she did not say anything further about the IRS message I received, the whole reason I called. She was asking me all kinds of questions about the U.S. stating she would like to visit here. She confirmed that she was in India and they have a room full of young people who are required to work 12 hour shifts. She seemed very young and naive and asked that I call back sometime because she enjoyed talking to me. It is definitely a scam and I knew it before calling but I wanted to gather information. It is sad that not only are they committing crimes against the American people who fall for the scam they are also forcing young people in thier own country to be involved unwillingly.
