I received the very same call from 512-234-5174. It was pretty much word for word. The very same day he called my former employers office using foul language towards the secretary who answered.. Still no one there could figure out what he really wanted. My former employer is also my close friend.
I received more calls and only answered once to tell ( Mick Skyler) {That's what he said his name was} , that I was recording this call and it would be turned over to the Secret Service. I hung up on him after awhile then his calls kept coming repeatedly of which I no longer answer.
Then today a received a call from a # I didn't recognize (850-810-6152) but I didn't answer but immediately went online to search out this number and came upon this site and viewed your story.
Bottom line is, WHERE IS MY S.S. # going to end up NEXT ???

My sister whom I used as a reference when filling out a payday loan received a call from 347-427-8164, the man said that his name was Mathews, Steven and that he was calling to get a hold of me regarding a legal matter.  I called the number back and received a voice message.  The person who left the voice message sounded as though he had an accent, so I was very suspicious.  I then started a search online to find out if this number was legit or if Steven Mathews was real.  

I started out by searching online for the number, using the area code.  I became even more suspicious as the area code registered somewhere in New York.  I live on an island in the South Pacific and some guy calls me from New York, talking about a legal matter.  Okay yeah right...anyways, I called the number back, only to receive a voice message.  I left a message and a number for this person to call me back (big mistake), as I did my search after the call back.

Obviously I have not talked to this person yet, as I only received this message an hour ago.  I am definetly going to report this number.

I received a text from this number regarding a auto advertising wrapping ad I had replied to on a local help-wanted board.  Upon further examination, I determined the offer is a scam, so you can add this type of scam to the existing list.  Looks like they are branching out.

FYI-the add I responded to was if I allow advertising to be placed on my car(full vinyl wrap) I would be paid $200 a week.  The email address was [email protected] and the supposed company is Classic Vinyl Image Ltd, with a website of - www.classicvinylimages.ca which you can totally tell is a bogus, thrown together site.
